White Coat Ceremony

During the White Coat Ceremony, USC School of Medicine Greenville first-year students receive their white coats, a symbol of their entry into the medical profession, and pledge their commitment to the profession and to the health of the patients they will serve.

About the Event

This event is by invitation only. Doors to the auditorium will open at 2:30 p.m. For those who cannot attend in-person, the White Coat Ceremony will be livestreamed on the School of Medicine Greenville’s Facebook page.

 

Student and Faculty Attire

Students are expected to wear business attire suitable for the occasion. Faculty are asked to wear their white coats.
