Bio
| Background: | Dr. Khalil has extensive experience of teaching anatomy. He taught human anatomy, comparative anatomy, and microanatomy to undergraduate, graduate and professional students. He accumulated many years of experience in educational technology and medical education research. He developed the knowledge of instructional methods and training techniques, including curriculum design principles, learning theory, group and individual teaching techniques. He also developed the skills to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate instructional materials, as well as the skills to validate instructional programs. Dr. Khalil core purpose is to promote students’ teaching and learning, adhere to highest standards, sharing of knowledge with others to promote effective medical education, and advocate for social justice. Dr. Khalil leadership is influence by his core value, which includes integrity and ethical behavior, justice, fairness and personal accountability, excellence, teamwork and mutual respect and diversity |
| Research Interest(s): | Dr. Khalil's research interest is in the area of learning and instructional technology. He is interested to advance medical education with innovative learning strategies. His research plan is to conduct applied research on technology integration in medical education with the intention of developing effective pedagogy that promotes student-centered learning and hence life-long learning. |
