Bio
| Background: | I was born and raised in Massachusetts, and graduate magna cum laude with a Bachelor's of Arts at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. I received my medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN. I completed my psychiatry residency training at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was on faculty at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. I joined the Department of Psychiatry at Prisma Health in 2019 as the program director of the psychiatry residency training program in Greenville and the director of the women's mental health program. |
| Teaching Interest(s): | My teaching interests including topics related to reproductive psychiatry, including interactive learning. Interests also include teaching about neuroscience, biopsychosocial case formulation, psychodynamic theory, and teaching and leadership. |
| Research Interest(s): | My research interests include women's mental health, specifically outcomes of depression and anxiety in pregnancy and the postpartum period, as well as medical education, learning theory and curriculum design. |
