Bio
Background: | I was first introduced to public health during two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in southern Tanzania, where I saw how education, economic conditions, and civic infrastructure all shape community health. Graduate studies deepened this interest and led me to medical school, where family medicine was a natural fit. I trained at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC, then practiced full-spectrum as a faculty member and also worked as a medical director for a community nonprofit called Wilmington Health Access for Teens. Since 2018, I have been a full-time residency faculty member, with an interest in exploring how to best care for vulnerable populations. I joined the residency program in Greer, SC, after two years in rural western NC. |
