Mandy Ward, PT, DPT
Dr. Ward is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Physical Therapy Program at the University of South Carolina and a Board-Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist. She teaches across the curriculum, including acute care, cardiopulmonary, integumentary, professional issues, and geriatric physical therapy. In addition to her teaching, she serves as Associate Director of Clinical Education, Chair of the Student Success and Progression Committee, and Admissions Committee member.
Dr. Ward brings over a decade of clinical experience in acute care and rehabilitation settings, with expertise spanning critical care, geriatrics, and complex medical populations. Her scholarly interests focus on the functional impact of healthcare policy and practice changes on acute care and geriatric populations, with an emphasis on outcomes such as mobility, discharge planning, and healthcare utilization.
