Information Sessions

Attend a South Carolina Honors College information session on the historic Horseshoe to learn more about the academic and personal opportunities offered by the Honors College, presented by SCHC staff and Honors Ambassadors. We’ll cover everything from Honors courses and beyond the classroom opportunities to Honors resources and community.

Honors Information Sessions are offered every Monday and Friday from 11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Register via the Visitor Center.

Take a Tour

Don’t forget to take a tour of campus! Go to the Visitor Center website to reserve your campus tour — we recommend the 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. tour time if you plan on attending an information session.

Admitted Student Panels

Admitted Student Panels offer students admitted to the SCHC the opportunity to learn more about the academic and personal opportunities offered by the South Carolina Honors College, socialize with current Honors students, and ask current Honors students and an Honors advisor any questions they may have about why they should attend the SCHC.

Admitted Student Panels are offered every Monday and Friday from 10:15 – 11 a.m. between February 24 – April 18. Register via the Visitor Center.

Meet the Honors Ambassadors

Honors Ambassadors are a diverse group of involved students who exemplify Honors College qualities of leadership, service, scholarship and global citizenship. They are driven intellectuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences and passions. They have won national awards, interned with Fortune 500 companies and participated in cutting-edge research. But they have also been known to sleep through their alarms and run late for class... and they love to answer questions about life at the Honors College!
