Our Mission

Our Theatre Program is committed to fostering critical thinking, creative collaboration, imagination, and adaptability, in both global and local communities. Our artistic activities and productions are part of the robust cultural life of USC, promoting humane and effective citizenship on campus and beyond.​

Study

Pursue an array of performance, design and direction undergraduate and graduate degrees. Whatever your field of specialization, know you'll experience an exciting path of both classroom and production-based learning that will launch your theatre career in the direction you choose.

Audition

Audition for one of our upcoming productions. Any University of South Carolina student is invited to audition for a show, regardless of your major, and non-student roles also may be available for some productions as well.

Perform

Experience the drama and excitement of live theatre through the university's annual season of performances. Enjoy expansive classical productions as well as intimate experimental theatre from venues ranging from historic Longstreet Theatre to the Lab Theatre, our black box space.
