Scholarships

Although a USC Salkehatchie education is affordable, we understand that many students may still need a little extra help with tuition and living expenses. While many scholarships don’t require an application, we encourage you to fill out the Scholarship Interest Form so that we can match you with the scholarships that suit you best!

USC Salkehatchie Scholarships: Invest in Your Success

We're committed to making your education affordable. In addition to federal and state financial aid  received by completing the FAFSA, USC Salkehatchie awards over $200,000 in institutional scholarships annually to students with strong academic records. Our generous donors support a variety of scholarships with varying criteria.

Scholarship Review Timeline

  • Returning Students: Reviews begin in mid-February.
  • New Freshmen: Reviews begin in mid-March.

Awards are made on a rolling basis, continuing throughout the summer.

STEM Scholarships

If you're pursuing a STEM field, you may be eligible for a dedicated scholarship through a Department of Energy WORC grant. Indicate your STEM major on the Scholarship Interest Form. We may contact you for further details.

How to Apply

While many scholarships do not require and application,  we encourage you to complete the Scholarship Interest  Form so that you can be matched with relevant scholarships.
