Training and Development

This area focuses on continuous learning and skill-building through a robust calendar of monthly trainings, workshops and an annual professional development conference. Key offerings include AI and emerging technology updates, needs assessments and cross-functional collaboration. This 75-minute workshop helps HRSM support staff create digital content that meets university accessibility standards. Participants will learn the importance of accessibility and gain hands-on skills for making documents, emails, and communications accessible in Word, PDF, Excel, and PowerPoint. The session covers tables, charts, data visualizations, and spreadsheets, plus using accessibility checkers and strategies for fixing existing materials.
