H-1B

The H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa (NIV) that allows U.S. employers to temporarily hire foreign workers in specialty occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise. USC can sponsor H-1B visas for faculty, researchers, and specialized staff members.

Note: You cannot add temporary roles (adjunct teaching, outside services roles, etc.) in addition to the primary role if they are not included on the H-1B petition.
